  production process
Usually, the method of planing is used to process natural thin wood. The process flow is as follows: log → cutting → cutting → softening (steaming or boiling) → planing → drying (or not drying) → cutting → inspection and packaging → warehousing
Here are only three important links:
  Section
After the log enters the plant, it shall first be cut into wood sections according to the required length, and then cut the wood cube. When cutting the wood cube, the sawing scheme must be selected according to the log diameter, wood texture and the fixing method of the wood cube on the planer, so that the width of the planed veneer is not less than the relevant requirements. The scheme is reasonable, not only the yield is high, but also the diameter cut thin wood is more and the chord cut thin wood is less, and the decorative value of the product is high. Different sawing schemes shall be adopted for logs of different diameter classes.
  Cooking
After cooking (i.e. hydrothermal treatment), the plasticity of wood increases. The most effective way to improve wood plasticity is to adjust the two factors of temperature and moisture content at the same time, that is, to increase the temperature of wood and increase the moisture content of wood at the same time. This is the fact that saturated steam or hot water is usually used to cook the wood in actual production.
When the wood cube is put into the cooking tank, it shall be carried out according to the tree species and wood cube specifications; The water temperature shall be kept at normal temperature and heated slowly to avoid cracking of wood due to thermal stress.
  dry
The moisture content after drying is generally required to be 8% ~ 12%. The veneer drying equipment includes continuous drum dryer, belt dryer and intermittent drying chamber.
The drying room is an old-fashioned drying equipment, which is very uneconomic, but the drying quality is good. The most widely used is the drum dryer. Thin veneers, especially those with thickness less than 0.4mm, must use belt dryer.
